BAKKE- Mrs. Hildur Bakke, age 93 years, a resident of Thunder Bay, passed away on Thursday, July 6, 2006. Hildur was a member of Our Saviours Lutheran Church and enjoyed both vegetable and flower gardening. Creating a warm home, good meals and special treats for her family and grandchildren were what brought Hildur her greatest joy. Hildur will be lovingly remembered by her son Ray, grandchildren: Andrea, Eric and Chris, sister-in-law Sonja Paulsen and one sister Ruth in Norway. She was predeceased by husband Leif, brothers: Karsten, Egil, Erling and Helge, sisters Ingjerd and Laura. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 11th at 2:00 pm in Riverside Cemetery, with Pastor Matthew Diegel presiding. Visitation for friends will be Monday evening from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm in the SARGENT & SON FUNERAL HOME, 21 N. Court Street.
