ADDUONO- With deepest sorrow we announce the unexpected passing of our dear mother, friend, nanny, sister and auntie. Mrs. Margo V. Adduono, age 64, of 303-844 Red River Road died suddenly on Thursday, July 13, 2006. She worked as a dispatcher for the Thunder Bay Police Department. Mom recently retired from the City of Thunder Bay where she worked for 19 years as a Project Manager for Non Profit Housing. Margo's greatest passion in life was her girls and grandchildren. Margo enjoyed many hours a day working on her vegetable and flower gardens with her very dear friend Pat Balon. Margo was a very strong independant woman who always put the need of others before herself. She also worked very hard all her life sacfificing many things for her 6 girls, raising them on her own until Glen, our step-father came into her life. Together they were blessed with love and together we all became a family. She will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by her daughters: Debbie Nerino (Michael) and grandchildren Michael-Paul (Christie), Marissa and Mark of Dryden, Ontario; Patty Hopkins (Darby) and grandchildren Jocelyn and Melissa; Susan Clemons (John) and grandchildren Ben, Rebecca, Katie and great granddaughter Naomi; Jackie Pushie (Bob) and granddaughter Kara; Jodi Quesnel and grandchildren Kevin and Brittny of British Columbia, grandchildren J.R. and Marina Littleford, step-children Jamie and Michelle Adduono, her siblings Dianne (Gary) Nigro, Linda Fortes, Ted Fortes, lifetime friend Pat Balon (Bryan), as well as by numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Glen Adduono, daughter Jo-Ann Pushie, granddaughter Amanda Sheldrake, parents Victor and Lillian Fortes, sister and brother-in-law Dorothy and Ted Erickson, mother-in-law Mary Adduono. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 17th at 11:00 a.m. in St. John's Anglican Church with the Ven. Mark S. Conliffe officiating. Services will be complete in the church with cremation to follow. Visitation for friends will be held on Sunday from 1-3 p.m. in the Sargent & Son Funeral Chapel, 21 N. Court Street where Prayers will be offered at 2:00 p.m. As expressions of sympathy memorials to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Northern Cancer Research Foundation would be appreciated.
