Bobie- Mrs. Jessie Bobie, age 92 years, a resident of Roseview Manor, 99 Shuniah Street, passed away peacefully at St. Joseph's Care Group (Palliative Care Unit) on Thursday, November 16 with her family by her side. Jessie was born in Port Arthur on Februay 5, 1914 and has resided here all of her life. Jessie took great pride in her home and was especially proud of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be lovingly remembered by daughter: Frances Myskew of Winnipeg (enroute), Josie Gray (Cameron) of Oakville (enroute), Diane Bobie and Helen Gemzsi (Mike) of Thunder Bay, son Alex Bobie (Sharon), 7 grandchildren: Terry Myskew (Suzanne) of Winnipeg, Debbie Zienkiewcz (Willie) of Winnipeg, Wendy Myskew (Rene Balcaen) of the Northwest Territories, Shane King (Sue) of Oakville, Tara Bobie of Toronto and Paul Bobie of Thunder Bay, 9 great grandchildren, nieces nephews and "Grandma's Little Angel" Theo, sister Minnie Bobie of Thunder Bay and sister-in-law Elsie Beitz of British Columbia. Predeceased by her husband Paul in 1970, sisters Anna Blazina and Sophie Radosevic, brothers John and Paul Beitz her parents Helen and John Beitz, niece Millie Blazina, brother-in-law Steve Bobie and son-in-law Tony Myskew Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 21, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. in the Sargent & Son Funeral Chapel, 21 North Court Street with Rev. Lloyd Ivany presiding. Interment Riverside Cemetery. A reception will follow in the Sargent Family Reception Centre.
