BELMORE- Mr. Joseph "Joe Bones" Belmore, age 64 years, a resident of Armstrong, Ontario passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 6, 2006. Joseph was born in Armstrong on April 17, 1942 and was a lifetime resident. He worked for many years as a disc jockey with White Sand Radio. He loved music, especially the Blues, and attended the Blues Festival every year. He was a talented guitarist who enjoyed playing for family and friends as well as at various church functions. A real animal lover he cared for many different pets over the years. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Victoria, children: Victoria, Thelma, Shawn and Jason; brothers Henry and Maurice (Docile), sister Gladys Belmore as well as by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and other relatives. He was predeceased by his parents Oliver and Alice Belmore, 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 11th when family and friends will gather in Our Lady of Snows R.C. Church for the Funeral Mass beginning at 11:00 a.m. celebrated by Rev. Michael Murray. Interment to follow in Armstrong Cemetery. Vigil prayers will be offered on Saturday at 7 p.m. in the Sargent & Son Funeral Chapel, 21 N. Court Street.
