THE CHRONICLE JOURNAL FOR Wednesday, August 20, 2008 WITH PHOTO BLAIS- Mr. Pierre Blais age 68 years, a resident of Murrillo, ON passed away at his residence on Saturday, August 16, 2008. Pierre worked as a truck driver for Great Lakes Paper Co., retiring after 35 years with the company. Horses were Pierre's passion and he was a founding member of the Thunder Bay Arabian Horse Association. Pierre's was predeceased by numerous family members. He will be lovingly remembered by his children: Pierre (Tannis), Kathy (Steve) and Mark, grandchildren: Matthew, Pierre and Paige. Numerous other relatives also survive. Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 22, 2008 at 2:00 pm in the Sargent & Son Funeral Home, 21 N. Court Street with Rev. Richard Kowalchuk of Corpus Christi R.C. Church presiding. Following the service a reception will be held in the Sargent Family Reception Centre. Should friends desire, memorial donations to the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
