A Century of Care

Back in 1924, Lewis Sargent officially settled in Thunder Bay to become more involved in the day to day operation of Thompson and Sargent – the funeral home at the Lakehead that would eventually become Sargent & Son. After 100 years and five generations, we are still owned and operated by the Sargent family.

For a century, Sargent & Son has been a pillar of compassion in the community, offering care and support during times of loss. We carry on a legacy of honouring the lives of those lost, and supporting loved ones in their time of need.

As we celebrate this incredible milestone, we reflect on the memories and stories that have shaped us and our community.
